Robert A. Coffey is a certified residential appraiser with over 30 years in the field and a SRA Designated member of the Appraisal Institute.  Bob is also an FHA approved appraiser in good standing and holds a NYS license in Real Estate.  He has a strong banking background and roots in building construction.  He has been a Senior Staff Appraiser at IREM Solutions, Inc. since 2015.

COFFEY APPRAISAL SERVICES, INC., Rochester, NY.  1996-2015

President of Company. Perform same duties as listed below.

NORTHEASTERN APPRAISAL ASSOCIATES Rochester, NY. 1990-1996

Managed a staff of 8 residential appraisers and 2 clerical employees. Performed residential appraisals, relocation appraisals and reviews appraisals for compliance to FNMA/FHLMC, FIRREA and USPAP Guidelines. Responsible for daily operation of office, billing and client contact.

FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN Rochester, NY:

Senior Appraiser, 1989-1990.  Duties included reviewing appraisals done by fee appraisers. Perform special projects, preparation of reports and research.  Researches and resolves problems with the mortgage representatives, public, realtors, and/or builders regarding current or potential Association held mortgages.  See rest of duties below).

Staff Appraiser, 1986-1989.  Duties included performing local and site inspections for residential mortgage loan applicants, home equity loans, refinances and second mortgages.  Reviews blue prints, construction details and determines the feasibility of granting a mortgage from the standpoint of risk to First Federal on new construction loans and existing residential property appraisals.  Prepares appraisal reports for BHD Corporation and HWD Corporation to determine market value of proposed or newly constructed homes.  Also performed independent appraisals.  Responsibilities also included FHA, VA and escrow inspections.

Staff Appraiser, 1981-1982.  Duties included performing local and site inspections for residential mortgage loan applicants, home equity loans, refinances and second mortgages.  Reviewed blue prints, construction details and determined the feasibility of granting a mortgage from the standpoint of risk to First Federal and new construction loans and for FHLMC existing residential property appraisals.  Performance of appraisal functions as approved FHA appraiser and with FHA Co-Insurance Program.

Residential Appraiser Trainee, 1979-1981.  All of the above duties were performed with the supervision of a senior staff member.

Building Inspector, 1977-1979. Responsibilities included inspections for building loans of houses under construction, FHA, VA and escrow inspections. Also included were hazard inspections, commercial loan inspections, and delinquent property
