Extensive commercial and retail lending background with over 33 years of experience in all aspects of lending from business development, loan origination, underwriting, loan approval to portfolio management, provides full range of credit related consulting services with a specialization in loan review.

Vice President/Commercial Lending Officer/BERKSHIRE BANK,2011-2013

As Commercial Lending Officer for one of Massachusetts’ oldest and largest independent banks, was responsible for business development, loan origination, underwriting, product sales and referrals to colleagues for additional business development.  Additionally, managed a commercial loan portfolio reaching $74.8MM.  Provided support to branch managers with business development/loan origination of $1MM or less.

Assistant Vice President/ Business Banking Officer/CITIZENS BANK, 2010-2011

As Business Banking Officer for one of the largest retail banks in the US, was responsible for the oversight of six New York branches for small business commercial development.  In addition to loan originations, product sales, product referrals to bank branches and colleagues for all commercial banking customers and prospects.

Assitant Vice President/Commercial Lending Officer/PARTNERS TRUST BANK, 1989-2007

As Commercial Lending Officer for bank with 33 branches, had managerial responsibilities for business development, loan origination, loan approval and portfolio management of small business commercial loan portfolios ranging from $35-$89 MM.  Portfolio management included performing and underwriting all annual reviews, including the timely reviews of lines of credit.

Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager/FLEET BANK, 1986-1989

As Branch Manager supervised 16 person branch including four person retail lending support staff.  Responsible for all branch functions including monitoring of cash, audits, and achievement of retail and commercial loan goals.
